How to Use

Dosage

For adults, the usual dose is between 30 and 120 MBq. For children and adolescents, the dose is adjusted based on body weight.

Method

It is given as a single injection into a vein in your arm.

Important

You will receive only one dose for the procedure, as overdosage is unlikely.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to succimer or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have any allergies, as allergic reactions have been reported with this type of examination.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, as this medicine is not recommended during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks.
  • Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding. You may need to stop breastfeeding for a short time after the injection.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease.
