How to Use

Dosage

Take 1-2 tablets as needed.

Method

Chew or suck the tablets slowly. They are best taken one hour after meals and before bed. No water is needed.

Important

Do not exceed 11 tablets per day or use continuously for more than two weeks.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, magnesium subcarbonate, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney problems.
  • Do not use if you have high calcium levels in your blood or a condition that causes high calcium in your blood.
  • Do not use if you have kidney stones caused by calcium or if you suspect you have them.
  • Do not use if you have low phosphate levels in your blood.

  • Do not use if you have more calcium in your urine than normal.
  • If your kidney function is reduced, you can only use Rennie Peppermint under a doctor's supervision.
  • Avoid large amounts of milk or dairy products while using Rennie Peppermint.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years.
  • If symptoms continue or only partly improve, contact a doctor.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Avoid use in severe renal impairment. Take the several interactions in the absorption phase into account. (updated 17.2.2025)
