How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is 1 to 2 tablets as needed.

Method

Chew the tablets or let them slowly dissolve in your mouth. It is recommended to take them one hour after a meal and at bedtime. Water is not needed.

Important

Do not take more than 11 tablets per day. Do not use this medicine continuously for more than two weeks.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, magnesium subcarbonate, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney failure.
  • Do not use if you have high calcium levels in your blood.
  • Do not use if you have or suspect you have calcium-containing kidney stones.
  • Do not use if you have low phosphate levels in your blood.

  • Do not use if your calcium excretion in urine is higher than normal.
  • If your kidney function is impaired, use only under a doctor's supervision.
  • Do not consume large amounts of milk or dairy products at the same time.
  • During pregnancy and breastfeeding, avoid long-term use with high doses. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Take Rennie Orange at a different time (1-2 hour gap) than other medications to avoid affecting their absorption.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
  • See a doctor if your condition does not improve after 14 days or if it worsens.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Avoid use in severe renal impairment. Take the several interactions in the absorption phase into account. (updated 17.2.2025)
