How to Use

Dosage

For frown lines between eyebrows: 50 units (0.5 ml). For crow's feet: 60 units (0.6 ml). For combined treatment: 110 units (1.1 ml).

Method

Relfydess is given as injections into the muscles at specific points chosen by your doctor.

Important

Do not get treated more often than every three months, and the total dose should not exceed 110 units in one session.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Injection site reactions like bruising, pain, itching, redness, swelling, discomfort, hypersensitivity, warmth.
  • Headache.
  • Drooping upper eyelid.
RARE
  • Muscle weakness.
  • Muscle twitching.
  • Drooping eyebrows.
  • Allergic reaction, such as asthma or widespread hives.
  • Local allergic reaction, such as hives.
  • Blurred vision.
  • Dry eyes.
  • Eye strain.
  • Eyelid swelling.
  • Breathing, swallowing, or speech difficulties.
  • Swelling, including face or throat, hives, wheezing, feeling faint, or shortness of breath, which could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to botulinum toxin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have an infection at the planned injection site.
  • Do not use if you have myasthenia gravis, Eaton-Lambert syndrome, or ALS (long-term muscle conditions).
  • Tell your doctor if you have a disease affecting your nervous system.
  • Tell your doctor if you are in poor health and feel tired and weak.

  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing difficulties, or problems swallowing food or drinks, which can cause coughing or choking.
  • Tell your doctor if you have experienced side effects from previous botulinum toxin injections or if your wrinkles did not improve significantly after your last treatment.
  • Tell your doctor if you have inflammation at the planned injection site.
  • Tell your doctor if you have eye problems like drooping eyelids or dry eyes.
  • Tell your doctor if the muscles at the planned injection site are weak or show signs of wasting.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a bleeding disorder or are taking blood-thinning medication.
  • Rarely, the toxin effect may spread causing swallowing, speech, or breathing difficulties. Seek immediate medical attention if these occur.
  • Relfydess can cause dry eyes. If you experience symptoms like eye irritation, light sensitivity, or vision changes, contact your doctor.
  • Repeated treatment may lead to temporary muscle paralysis and wasting in treated muscles.
  • Too frequent or high doses may lead to antibody formation, which can reduce the treatment's effectiveness.
  • Relfydess is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking, especially certain antibiotics (like aminoglycosides), other muscle relaxants, or other botulinum toxin products, as they can increase Relfydess's effects.
  • Do not use Relfydess if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • After treatment, you may experience temporary vision problems or muscle weakness. Do not drive or operate machinery if this happens.
