How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and children weighing at least 40 kg is 1200 mg once a day, taken as two 600 mg tablets.

Method

Swallow the tablets whole with or without food. Do not chew, crush, or break them.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg, taken once a day. Do not exceed this dose.

Important Warnings

  • Talk to your doctor before starting. This medicine does not cure HIV, and you need regular doctor visits during treatment.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of depression or mental illness, as this medicine can cause or worsen mood problems.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience joint stiffness, aches, or difficulty moving, as this could be a sign of bone disease.
  • Inform your doctor if you have liver problems or have had hepatitis B or C.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you have symptoms of infection like fever or feeling unwell, or if you notice muscle weakness, heart palpitations, or tremors.
