Important Warnings
Do not use Prolastina if you are allergic to the active substance (alpha₁-proteinase inhibitor) or any other ingredient in the medicine.
Do not use if you have a known deficiency of special immunoglobulins (IgA), as this can lead to severe allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock.
Talk to your doctor if you have severe heart failure, as Prolastina may cause a temporary increase in blood volume.
Stop smoking, as tobacco smoke can reduce the effectiveness of Prolastina in your lungs.
This medicine is made from human blood or plasma. While measures are taken to prevent infections, there's still a small risk of transmitting infectious agents.
