Pregabalin ratiopharm is a medicine used to treat epilepsy, nerve pain (neuropathic pain), and generalized anxiety disorder in adults.
The usual daily dose is between 150 mg and 600 mg.
Take the capsules whole with water, either two or three times a day, as prescribed by your doctor. If taken twice daily, take once in the morning and once in the evening. If taken three times daily, take once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening, roughly at the same times each day.
Do not take more than 600 mg in a single day, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Note especially central nervous system adverse effects. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Addiction may develop. (updated 14.4.2025)
