How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you the right dose, which is usually between 150 mg and 600 mg each day.

Method

Swallow the capsule whole with water. Take it two or three times a day, as instructed by your doctor, around the same times each day (morning, or morning, afternoon, and evening).

Important

Do not take more than 600 mg in one day, or more than your doctor prescribes.

  • Hepatitis (liver inflammation)
  • Developing dependence on Pregabalin Orion Pharma (drug dependence)

Important Warnings

  • If you get signs of an allergic reaction like swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or a widespread skin rash, contact your doctor right away.
  • Stop taking this medicine and see a doctor immediately if you notice severe skin reactions, such as widespread red patches, blisters, or skin peeling.
  • This medicine can make you feel dizzy and sleepy, which might cause falls, especially for older people. Be careful until you know how it affects you.
  • If you notice any changes in your vision, like blurred vision or losing sight, tell your doctor right away. These changes are usually temporary.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had any heart problems, as some patients taking this medicine have had heart failure, especially older patients with heart disease.

  • If you notice you are urinating less while taking this medicine, tell your doctor, as kidney problems have been reported.
  • If you have thoughts of harming yourself or suicide, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you take other medicines that can cause constipation (like some pain medicines) with Pregabalin Orion Pharma, you might get stomach problems. Tell your doctor if you have constipation.
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever misused alcohol, prescription medicines, or drugs, as you may have a higher risk of becoming dependent on Pregabalin Orion Pharma.
  • If you experience seizures during or soon after stopping Pregabalin Orion Pharma, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you have a severe liver or kidney disease, tell your doctor, as brain function problems (encephalopathy) have been reported in some patients taking pregabalin.
  • If you experience breathing difficulties or shallow breathing, contact your doctor immediately.
  • Some people may become dependent on this medicine. If you are worried about dependence, or if you experience withdrawal symptoms when stopping, talk to your doctor.
