How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you how much to take. Usually, it's between 150 mg and 600 mg per day.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water, either 2 or 3 times a day. If twice daily, take once in the morning and once in the evening. If three times daily, take once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. You can take it with or without food.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 600 mg. Do not take more than prescribed.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to pregabalin or any other ingredients.
  • If you experience swelling of your face, lips, tongue, throat, or a widespread rash, contact your doctor immediately, as these may be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical help if you get severe skin reactions, such as red spots with blisters, peeling skin, or sores in your mouth, eyes, or genitals.
  • This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness, which can increase the risk of falls, especially in older people. Be careful until you know how it affects you.
  • Tell your doctor if your vision changes, such as blurred vision or vision loss, as this medicine can affect your eyesight.

  • If you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, you might be at a higher risk of becoming dependent on this medicine. Tell your doctor.
  • Seizures can occur during or after stopping this medicine. Contact your doctor immediately if you have seizures.
  • If you have a serious liver or kidney disease, this medicine might affect your brain function. Tell your doctor about your medical conditions.
  • Breathing difficulties have been reported. If you have nervous system or breathing problems, kidney failure, or are over 65, your doctor may change your dose. Contact your doctor if you have trouble breathing or shallow breaths.
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
