How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you the right dose, which is usually between 150 mg and 600 mg per day.

Method

Take the capsules whole with water. You will take them either twice (morning and evening) or three times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening) at roughly the same times each day.

Important

Do not take more than 600 mg in one day.

  • Dependence on Pregabalin Orion (drug dependence)
  • Shallow breathing

Important Warnings

  • If you get swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or a widespread rash, contact a doctor immediately as these can be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Stop taking this medicine and see a doctor right away if you get severe skin rashes with redness, blisters, or peeling skin (like Stevens-Johnson syndrome).
  • This medicine can make you feel dizzy and sleepy, which might lead to falls, especially for older people. Be careful until you know how it affects you.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if your vision changes, such as blurred vision or loss of sight.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, especially if you are elderly, as this medicine can cause heart failure in some cases.

  • If you have seizures while taking or after stopping this medicine, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you have other serious medical conditions like liver or kidney disease, tell your doctor, as this medicine has been linked to brain problems in some patients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have breathing problems, a nervous system disease, kidney issues, or are over 65, as this medicine can cause shallow breathing.
  • Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly; always talk to your doctor first to gradually reduce the dose over at least one week.
