How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will prescribe your dose, which is usually between 150-600 mg per day.

Method

Take Pregabalin Krka capsules by mouth with water. Your doctor will tell you to take them two or three times a day, at similar times each day. Swallow the capsule whole.

Important

The usual maximum daily dose is 600 mg.

  • Severe allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing or widespread skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), which can involve red patches, blisters, and peeling skin on the body, mouth, throat, nose, genitals, and eyes.

  • Parkinson's-like symptoms (tremor, slow movement, muscle stiffness)

  • Dependence on the medicine
  • Breathing difficulties, shallow breathing

Important Warnings

  • If your face, lips, tongue, or throat swell, or you get a widespread rash, contact your doctor right away as this could be a serious allergic reaction.
  • If you notice severe skin reactions like red patches, blisters, or peeling skin, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.
  • This medicine can cause dizziness and drowsiness, which may increase the risk of falls, especially in older people. Be careful until you know how the medicine affects you.
  • If your vision changes, such as becoming blurry or losing sight, tell your doctor right away.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart disease or heart failure.

  • If you have thoughts of harming yourself or suicide, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you have a nervous system or breathing problem, kidney issues, or are over 65 and experience breathing difficulties, contact your doctor.
  • Do not stop taking Pregabalin Krka suddenly; always talk to your doctor first, as stopping abruptly can cause withdrawal symptoms like sleep problems, headache, nausea, anxiety, or seizures.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, or if you are worried about developing dependence on this medicine.
  • If you experience seizures during or after stopping Pregabalin Krka, contact your doctor immediately.
  • If you have other serious medical conditions, such as liver or kidney disease, tell your doctor.
