How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide your dose, which is usually between 150 mg and 600 mg per day.

Method

Always take this medicine as your doctor tells you. Swallow the capsule whole with water. You can take it with or without food, either two or three times a day, at about the same times each day.

Important

Do not take more than 600 mg in one day.

Important Warnings

  • If you get swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or a widespread rash, tell your doctor right away. These could be signs of a serious allergic reaction.
  • Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you get severe skin rashes, such as red patches with blisters, skin peeling, or sores in your mouth, eyes, or genitals. These could be life-threatening.
  • This medicine can make you dizzy or sleepy, which might cause falls, especially if you are older. Be careful until you know how the medicine affects you.
  • Your vision might become blurry, you could lose some vision, or have other changes in your eyesight. Tell your doctor right away if you notice any changes in your vision. These changes are often temporary.
  • If you have diabetes and gain weight while taking this medicine, your diabetes medication might need to be adjusted.

  • Taking this medicine with other drugs for pain or muscle spasms can make you more drowsy or have worse side effects.
  • Some patients have had heart failure. Tell your doctor if you have had any heart problems before starting this medicine, especially if you are older or have heart disease.
  • Some patients have had kidney problems. If you notice you are urinating less while taking this medicine, tell your doctor.
  • If you have thoughts of harming yourself or suicide, contact your doctor right away. This has been reported in some patients taking epilepsy medicines, including Pregabalin 1A Farma.
  • If you take this medicine with other drugs that cause constipation (like some pain relievers), you might get stomach problems. Tell your doctor if you have constipation, especially if you often get it.
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever abused alcohol, prescription drugs, or street drugs, or been dependent on them. You might be more likely to become dependent on Pregabalin 1A Farma.
  • Seizures have happened during or soon after stopping Pregabalin 1A Farma. If you have seizures, tell your doctor right away.
  • Some patients have had problems with their brain function (encephalopathy), especially those with other serious illnesses. Tell your doctor if you have had any serious conditions like liver or kidney disease.
  • Breathing problems have been reported. If you have nerve, breathing, or kidney problems, or are over 65, your doctor might change your dose. Contact your doctor if you have trouble breathing or shallow breaths.
  • Pregabalin 1A Farma is not meant to be used by itself for epilepsy. It must always be taken with another epilepsy medicine.
  • Do not take Pregabalin 1A Farma if you are allergic to pregabalin or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Only use this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding if your doctor says it's okay. Using it in the first three months of pregnancy can cause birth defects.
  • This medicine can make you dizzy, sleepy, and affect your focus. Do not drive, use complex machines, or do dangerous tasks until you know how it affects you.
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Pregabalin 1A Farma.
  • Do not stop taking Pregabalin 1A Farma suddenly. Talk to your doctor first. Stopping too quickly can cause withdrawal symptoms like trouble sleeping, headache, feeling sick, anxiety, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, seizures, nervousness, feeling down, thoughts of self-harm, pain, sweating, and dizziness. These effects might be stronger if you have taken the medicine for a long time.
  • This medicine is not for children and teenagers under 18 years old. We don't know if it's safe or works well for them.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date on the box.
  • Keep this medicine where children cannot see or reach it.
