How to Use
Dosage
100 mg (20 dispersible tablets) three times a day for new users.
Method
Dissolve the tablets in half a glass of water and drink immediately. Use with the MyFID dispenser, which your doctor or nurse will program for you.
Important
Your doctor will decide your suitable dosage and adjust it as needed.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Urinary tract infections
- •Feeling confused
- •Dizziness
- •Nightmares
- •Feeling sleepy or tired
- •Trouble sleeping
- •Uncontrolled or unusual movements (dyskinesia)
- •Low blood pressure, especially when standing up, which can cause dizziness or fainting
- •Nausea or vomiting
- •Dry mouth
RARE
- •Severe blood disorders that can make you more prone to infections, bruising, or bleeding
- •Feeling agitated or restless
- •Headache
- •Increased sexual urges
- •Blurred vision or other eye problems
- •Difficulty breathing
- •Skin rash with severe itching
- •Hair loss
- •Problems with urination, like difficulty or involuntary urination
- •Long-lasting erection (priapism)
Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to carbidopa, levodopa, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not take if you have had skin cancer or unusual moles that a doctor has not checked.
- Do not take if you are using certain antidepressants (MAO inhibitors); you must stop them at least two weeks before starting Precifit.
- Tell your doctor if you or your family notice new urges or behaviors, like gambling, overeating, excessive spending, or unusual sexual urges.
- This medicine can make you sleepy or cause sudden sleep attacks; do not drive or use machines if this happens.
