How to Use
Dosage
Take one 0.088 mg tablet three times a day, as directed by your doctor.
Method
Swallow the tablets whole with water, with or without food.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 3.3 mg of pramipexole.

RARE
- •Feeling paranoid
- •False beliefs
- •Severe confusion, lower awareness, or impaired sense of reality (delirium)
- •Falling asleep during the day or suddenly
- •Memory loss
- •Increased movements or inability to stay still (hyperkinesia)
- •Fainting
- •Weight gain
- •Allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itching)
- •Heart problems (like shortness of breath or swollen ankles)
- •Shortness of breath
- •Hiccups
- •Lung infection (pneumonia)
- •Feeling agitated, overly excited, or having an elevated mood (mania)
- •Spontaneous erection
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to pramipexole or any other ingredient.
- This medicine can make you very sleepy or cause you to fall asleep suddenly, especially if you have Parkinson's disease.
- Do not drive or operate machines if you feel sleepy or have hallucinations (seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not real).
- Tell your doctor if you have strong urges to gamble, overeat, spend excessively, or have increased sexual thoughts or urges.
- Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor, as it can cause serious side effects.

- Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, as your dose may need to be adjusted.
- Be careful with alcohol or other calming medicines as they can make you more drowsy.
- Have your eyes checked regularly during treatment for any changes in vision.
Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
