Pramipexole Orion helps control body movements by acting on dopamine in the brain, used for Parkinson's disease and restless legs syndrome.
Take exactly as your doctor tells you. For Parkinson's disease, the dose is usually split into three equal doses daily, starting with 0.088 mg three times a day. For restless legs syndrome, take once a day in the evening, 2-3 hours before sleep, starting with 0.088 mg once a day. Your doctor will adjust the dose slowly.
You can take the tablets with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole with water.
For Parkinson's disease, the maximum daily dose is usually 3.3 mg. For restless legs syndrome, the maximum daily dose is 0.54 mg (0.75 mg pramipexole salt).
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Reduce the dose in moderately severe renal impairment. Common adverse effects include orthostatic hypotension, confusion, sudden episodes of deep sleep, impulse control disorders and lower limb edema.. . (updated 6.10.2025)
