Pramipexol Stada is a medicine that helps control body movements by stimulating dopamine receptors in the brain, used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Typically, you start with 0.26 mg once daily for the first week, and the dose is gradually increased by your doctor until your symptoms are controlled. A common maintenance dose is 1.05 mg daily.
Take Pramipexol Stada once daily at about the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, break, or crush the prolonged-release tablets as this could lead to an overdose.
Your doctor may increase your dose up to a maximum of 3.15 mg of pramipexol per day if needed.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Reduce the dose in moderately severe renal impairment. Common adverse effects include orthostatic hypotension, confusion, sudden episodes of deep sleep, impulse control disorders and lower limb edema.. . (updated 6.10.2025)
