How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will decide the right glucose strength and how many bags you need to use each day.

Method

This medicine is given into your abdomen (belly) as a peritoneal dialysis solution. Always follow your healthcare team's instructions carefully. Warm the bag to 37°C using a special warming plate, never a microwave or water bath. Use clean techniques, wash your hands, and clean the area before each exchange. Check the bag for leaks, expiry date, and clarity of the solution before use; do not use if damaged or cloudy. Mix the solutions in the bag thoroughly by breaking the seal and gently squeezing the bag.

Important

Do not use more solution than your doctor has prescribed. Each bag is for single use only and must be used within 24 hours of mixing.
