Phosphoral is a medicine that cleanses your bowel by increasing water in your stool, preparing your colon for an examination or surgery.
One dose is the content of one 45 ml bottle, diluted in 120 ml of cold water.
Drink the diluted dose, followed by at least one full glass (240 ml) of cold water. Drink plenty of clear fluids throughout the treatment and avoid solid food before the examination.
Take a maximum of two 45 ml bottles the day before your examination or surgery, as directed by your doctor.
