How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults is 75 mg-150 mg, three times a day.

Method

Take the tablets with plenty of liquid, preferably before meals.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 450 mg.

Possible Side Effects

  • Chest pain (angina pectoris)

  • Low platelet count
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of face, tongue, throat; difficulty breathing; hives)
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Low blood pressure
  • Feeling of warmth or flushing
  • Bleeding during or after surgery

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to dipyridamole or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have severe heart disease or a muscle weakness condition (myasthenia gravis).
  • Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, especially blood thinners or blood pressure-lowering medicines.
  • This medicine may cause dizziness, which can affect your ability to drive. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy.
  • If your doctor has told you that you have a sugar intolerance, talk to them before taking this medicine. It also contains sunset yellow (E110), which can cause allergic reactions.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Consider potential adverse effects, such as orthostatism and dizziness. The effectiveness of the drug alone without acetylsalicylic acid is modest. (updated 19.9.2025)
