How to Use

Dosage

For adults and children over 12, apply up to 30g of gel (a whole 30g tube or half of a 60g tube). For children 6-12 years, apply up to 15g. For children 2 months-5 years, apply up to 7.5g.

Method

Apply a thin layer of gel to your whole body, from your neck down, including hands and feet. For adults, face and scalp can be skipped unless affected. Leave the gel on for at least 8 hours (e.g., overnight), then wash it off with soap and water. Avoid bathing or showering during this time.

Important

Usually, one application is enough. If needed, a second application can be done after 7-14 days, but not sooner than 7 days after the first.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to permethrin, other pyrethroids, or any other ingredient in Permethrin LMP.
  • This medicine is for external use on the skin only. Do not swallow it.
  • Avoid getting the gel in your eyes, nose, mouth, genitals, or on open wounds. If it gets into your eyes, rinse well with water.
  • Do not use on newborns or babies under 2 months old unless your doctor tells you to. Treatment for children under 2 years must be under strict medical supervision.
  • If you are allergic to chrysanthemums or other plants from the Compositae family, talk to your doctor before using Permethrin LMP.

  • This medicine is harmful to insects and aquatic animals like fish. Make sure it does not get into aquariums or terrariums.
  • Permethrin LMP may worsen symptoms of asthma or eczema.
  • If you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. Do not breastfeed during treatment and for at least one week after.
  • Do not use for a long time, as prolonged exposure to permethrin can harm the nervous system, especially in young children.
  • If you apply more Permethrin LMP than recommended, wash it off with soap and warm water.
