  • Trouble with your vision
  • Blood problems (methemoglobinemia)
  • Slow heartbeat
  • Temporary heart block (reversible atrioventricular block)

  • Skin inflammation with peeling (exfoliative dermatitis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to glyceryl trinitrate, other similar medicines (nitrates), or any other ingredients in Perlinganit.
  • Do not use if you have sudden severe circulation problems, like shock or fainting.
  • Do not use if you have very low blood pressure.
  • Do not use if you have too little blood or fluid in your body (severe hypovolemia).
  • Do not use if you have severe anemia.

  • Do not use if you have certain severe heart problems, such as heart failure from pumping issues, severe narrowing of heart valves, thickened heart muscle (hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy), inflammation around the heart (constrictive pericarditis), or fluid around the heart (cardiac tamponade).
  • Do not use if you have a condition that causes high pressure inside your head.
  • Do not use if you are taking medicines for erectile dysfunction (like sildenafil, vardenafil, or tadalafil), as this can dangerously lower your blood pressure.
  • Always tell your doctor about any other illnesses or allergies you have.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, talk to your doctor. This medicine should only be used if your doctor says it's absolutely necessary, as it can pass into breast milk.
  • This medicine can affect your ability to drive or use machines. Alcohol can make this effect worse.
  • Perlinganit contains sugar (glucose), which is important to know if you have diabetes.
