How to Use

Dosage

Adults and elderly: 1-2 capsules up to three times daily. Children and adolescents over 8 years: 1 capsule up to three times daily.

Method

Swallow capsules whole with a full glass of water at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after a meal or antacids. Do not break or chew the capsules.

Important

Adults and elderly: maximum 6 capsules per day. Children and adolescents over 8 years: maximum 3 capsules per day.

  • Difficulty coordinating movements (ataxia)

  • Stools that smell of menthol
  • Painful or difficult urination (dysuria)
  • Urine that smells of menthol
  • Inflammation of the glans penis
  • Blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to peppermint oil, menthol, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have liver disease, bile duct inflammation, lack of stomach acid, gallstones, or other bile problems.
  • Use only if a doctor has diagnosed you with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
  • Talk to your doctor if your symptoms change, you have bleeding from the intestine, or unexplained loss of appetite or weight.
  • Swallow capsules whole; do not break or chew them, as this can irritate your mouth and throat.

  • If heartburn or hiatus hernia symptoms worsen, stop using this medicine.
  • Avoid using other medicines containing peppermint oil at the same time.
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 8 years of age.
  • Avoid taking with antacids or medicines that reduce stomach acid (like histamine-2 receptor blockers and proton pump inhibitors), as this can cause the capsule to release its content too early.
  • Do not take this medicine with meals.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
