  • If you have severe liver disease.
  • Contact your doctor right away if you have very stiff or twitching muscles, shaking, restlessness, confusion, fever, fast heart rate, or big changes in blood pressure. These could be signs of serious reactions like neuroleptic malignant syndrome or rhabdomyolysis.
  • Get medical help right away if you have signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives, itching, rash, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, which can make it hard to breathe or swallow.
  • Pentiro is not for children or teenagers under 18 years old.
  • Pentiro can lower your blood pressure, making you feel dizzy or light-headed. Be very careful when driving or using machines.
  • If you feel very sleepy or suddenly fall asleep, wait until you are fully awake before driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. Otherwise, you could hurt yourself or others.
  • Pentiro can make it harder for your body to absorb iron. Do not take Pentiro and iron supplements at the same time. Wait at least 2-3 hours between taking them.
  • Pentiro can be taken with or without food. Sometimes, high-protein foods (like meat, fish, dairy) can make Pentiro less absorbed. Ask your doctor if this might affect you.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. Do not breastfeed while taking Pentiro.
  • Do not stop taking Pentiro unless your doctor tells you to. Your doctor might need to change the doses of your other Parkinson's medicines to keep your symptoms controlled. Suddenly stopping can cause side effects.
