How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you your dose, but it's usually 800 mg (e.g., four 200 mg tablets or two 400 mg tablets) once daily.

Method

Take the medicine on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after a meal or 1 hour before a meal. Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not chew or crush them.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 800 mg.

  • Hole in the bowel (perforation) or abnormal connection (fistula)
  • Sudden, severe high blood pressure (hypertensive crisis)
  • Inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis)
  • Yellow skin and eyes (jaundice)
  • Lung inflammation (pneumonitis)
  • Blood vessel problems like bulging or tearing (aneurysm or arterial dissection)
  • Tumor lysis syndrome (rapid breakdown of cancer cells)
  • Severe liver failure

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to pazopanib or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had heart or liver problems, or if you have high blood pressure.
  • Inform your doctor if you have had bleeding, blood clots, or blood vessel issues.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had stomach or bowel problems, like a hole (perforation) or an abnormal connection (fistula).
  • If you are having surgery, tell your doctor; you will need to stop this medicine at least 7 days before.

  • Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Use reliable contraception during treatment and for 2 weeks after.
  • Avoid driving or using machines if this medicine makes you feel weak, tired, or dizzy.
  • Do not drink grapefruit juice, as it can increase the risk of side effects.
