How to Use

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: If you weigh 34-60 kg, take 1 sachet every 4-6 hours. If you weigh over 60 kg, take 1-2 sachets every 4-6 hours.

Method

Dissolve the sachet's contents in hot (not boiling) water and stir well. Drink the solution within 30 minutes.

Important

Maximum daily dose is 4 sachets (2000 mg paracetamol) if you weigh 34-60 kg. If you weigh over 60 kg, the maximum daily dose is 6 sachets (3000 mg paracetamol). Always wait at least 4 hours between doses.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Symptoms of infection such as fever, worsening general condition or local infection symptoms (e.g., sore throat/mouth, urination problems), and decrease in white blood cells.
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock), which may include shortness of breath, swelling of the face, mouth, tongue, or throat.
  • Severe skin reactions, such as rash, itching, blisters, red or peeling skin, or sores in the mouth or on the skin.
  • Decrease in blood cells, blood clotting disorders, anemia, unusual bleeding, and bruising.
  • Allergic reaction.
  • Fever (elevated body temperature).
  • Itching, rash, hives, skin swelling.
  • Depression, confusion, hallucinations, vision problems.
  • Tremor, headache, dizziness, general feeling of being unwell, drowsiness.
  • Abdominal pain, diarrhea, gastrointestinal bleeding, nausea, vomiting.
  • Abnormal liver function, liver failure, liver damage, jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes).
  • Sudden muscle spasms in the airways (breathing difficulties).
  • Low blood sugar.
  • Kidney diseases and cloudy urine.
  • Sudden widespread pustular rash.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients of this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe liver disease.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose, as this can cause serious liver damage.
  • Do not take this medicine at the same time as other medicines containing paracetamol.
  • Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can damage your liver.

  • Long-term and simultaneous use of several pain relievers can permanently damage your kidneys.
  • Use with caution if you are malnourished or dehydrated.
  • If you have asthma and are sensitive to aspirin, use with caution.
  • If you have taken too much medicine or if a child has accidentally taken it, contact a doctor or Poison Information Centre immediately.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. The recommended maximum dose for long-term use is 2 grams per day. Can be used concurrently with warfarin only if INR values are monitored. Consider paracetamol in OTC drugs and combination products. Risk of poisoning with daily doses over 4 grams. (updated 14.4.2025)
