How to Use

Dosage

For adults and young people over 16 years of age (>55 kg): take 500-1000 mg (half to one 1000 mg tablet) per dose.

Method

Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. The tablet can be divided into two equal doses.

Important

Do not exceed 3000 mg in a 24-hour period. Doses should be taken at least 4 hours apart.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Skin reactions like rash, itching, hives, or severe peeling of the skin.
  • Allergic reactions, sometimes with breathing difficulties or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or face.
  • Liver problems, such as increased liver enzyme values, liver failure, or jaundice (yellow skin/eyes).
  • Stomach or gut problems like abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or constipation.
  • Headache, dizziness, feeling generally unwell, confusion, weakness, or chills.
  • Blood changes, such as unexplained bruising or bleeding, pale skin, sore throat, recurring mouth sores, or low numbers of blood cells.
  • Breathing problems, especially if you have had similar reactions to aspirin or anti-inflammatory painkillers.
  • Other effects, such as sweating, swelling under the skin, high fever, cloudy urine, or kidney problems.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients.
  • Do not take other paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time to avoid overdose. Tell your doctor if you are already taking other paracetamol products.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have kidney or liver problems, are underweight or malnourished, regularly drink alcohol, have certain enzyme deficiencies, blood disorders, or a severe infection.
  • This medicine is not for young people under 16 years of age.
  • If your symptoms do not get better or worsen after 3 days, if your fever is high, or if you notice signs of an infection, contact your doctor.

  • Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
  • If you have taken too much medicine, contact a doctor, hospital, or Poison Information Center immediately, even if you feel well, as overdose can cause serious liver damage.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
