How to Use

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years (over 40 kg): 1–2 tablets as needed. For children under 12 years (over 17 kg), the dose is based on body weight, as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Method

Take the tablet with liquid, with or without food.

Important

Do not exceed 6 tablets per day for adults. For children, the maximum dose is 15 mg per kg of body weight, up to 3 times a day, and should not be exceeded without a doctor's prescription.

  • Narrowing of the airways
  • Severe allergic reactions (swelling, difficulty breathing, low blood pressure, even shock)
  • Very severe skin reactions (like Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis)
  • Too much acid in the blood (metabolic acidosis), causing rapid breathing, confusion, and tiredness in at-risk patients

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to a doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, are severely underweight, dehydrated, have a long-term illness from alcohol use, or have blood poisoning (sepsis).
  • Do not use with other medicines that contain paracetamol to avoid overdose.
  • Alcohol can increase the risk of liver damage when taking this medicine.
  • If your symptoms do not improve after 3 days or get worse, see a doctor.

  • Taking too much can cause severe liver damage. Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category A

Suitable for older adults. The recommended maximum dose for long-term use is 2 grams per day. Can be used concurrently with warfarin only if INR values are monitored. Consider paracetamol in OTC drugs and combination products. Risk of poisoning with daily doses over 4 grams. (updated 14.4.2025)
