How to Use

Dosage

Adults: 1–2 tablets up to 4 times a day.

Method

Take the tablets with a glass of water. You can break the tablet in half if needed. Wait at least 4 hours between doses.

Important

Do not take more than 8 tablets (4 g) in 24 hours.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reactions, like trouble breathing, or swelling of your face, mouth, tongue, or throat.
  • Skin rashes (like itchy bumps or red skin).
  • Peeling skin, blisters, sores, or mouth ulcers.
  • Blood problems, including unusual bleeding or bruising.
  • Changes in how your pee looks or how much you pee, like cloudy pee, blood in your pee, or not being able to pee. These are signs of kidney problems.
  • Yellow skin or eyes (jaundice), which are signs of liver problems. Your liver test results might also be abnormal.
  • Very rarely, serious skin reactions have been reported.
  • Feeling sick (nausea), stomach pain, throwing up (vomiting), or diarrhea.
  • Feeling sad (depression), confused, or seeing/hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations).
  • Shaking (tremors), headache, feeling lightheaded or dizzy, feeling nervous, or confused.
  • Problems with your eyesight.
  • Swelling under the skin due to extra fluid.
  • Feeling dizzy, generally unwell, fever, feeling sleepy, or sweating a lot.
  • Low blood pressure.
  • Low blood sugar.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredient in it.
  • Tell your doctor if you have liver problems, including those caused by drinking too much alcohol.
  • Tell your doctor if you have Gilbert's syndrome (a mild condition that can make your skin look yellow).
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems.
  • Tell your doctor if you are very dehydrated or do not eat enough.

  • Tell your doctor if you have asthma and are sensitive to aspirin.
  • Do not take other medicines that also contain paracetamol at the same time.
  • Tell your doctor if you have a lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (an enzyme).
  • Tell your doctor if you have a lack of glutathione (a substance in your body).
  • Tell your doctor if you have hemolytic anemia (a condition where red blood cells break down too quickly).
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart or lung problems.
  • Always follow the recommended dose and do not take more than advised.
  • If you regularly drink a lot of alcohol, do not take more than 4 tablets (2 grams of paracetamol) in 24 hours.
  • See a doctor if your symptoms do not get better after 3 days or if they get worse.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 7 years old or children who weigh less than 25 kg.
  • Do not use other pain medicines without talking to your doctor first.
  • Taking too much paracetamol can seriously harm your liver and can be deadly. If you think you or someone else has taken too much, contact a doctor, hospital, or poison control center right away, even if you feel well.
