How to Use

Dosage

Adults take 1-2 tablets up to 3 times a day. For children, the dose is 15 mg per kg of body weight, up to 3 times a day.

Method

Take tablets up to 3 times a day, with at least 4 hours between doses. Always use the lowest effective dose.

Important

The maximum recommended daily dose for adults is 3 g (3000 mg) of paracetamol.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reactions, such as rash and itching, breathing difficulties, or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or face.
  • Skin peeling, rash, or blisters.
  • Mouth sores.
  • Breathing problems, if you have had them before when using aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
  • Blood problems, such as unusual bleeding or bruising.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use Panapar without a doctor's advice if you have heart failure, liver or kidney disease, or alcohol problems.
  • This medicine contains paracetamol. Too much paracetamol can seriously harm your liver.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are already taking other medicines for pain, fever, cold, or flu that contain paracetamol.
  • Do not use other painkillers at the same time without a doctor's prescription.

  • Panapar is for temporary use. If symptoms continue for a long time, or come back often, contact a doctor. Talk to a doctor if you don't feel better or feel worse after three days.
  • Not recommended for children weighing less than 17 kg or under 6 years old.
  • If you are taking flucloxacillin (an antibiotic), there is a risk of a serious blood and fluid imbalance (metabolic acidosis) which requires urgent treatment.
  • Panapar tablets contain a small amount of potassium sorbate, which may cause skin rash in sensitive individuals.
