How to Use

Dosage

For adults, take 1 to 2 effervescent tablets.

Method

Dissolve the effervescent tablet completely in about one deciliter (1 dl) of liquid until it is fully dissolved. The solution will be clear and have a neutral taste.

Important

Do not take more than 3 doses (up to 6 effervescent tablets total) in 24 hours. Wait at least 4 hours between doses. Do not use for more than 3 days continuously without a doctor's advice.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, breathing difficulties, or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or face.
  • Peeling skin, skin rash, or blisters.
  • Sores in the mouth.
  • Breathing problems, especially if you have previously had such reactions to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory pain relievers.
  • Changes in blood, including unusual bleeding or bruising.
  • A severe condition where blood becomes too acidic (metabolic acidosis), with symptoms like serious breathing difficulties (deep and fast breathing), drowsiness, nausea, and vomiting.
COMMON
  • Dizziness, headache, heart palpitations, upset stomach, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), restlessness, anxiety, irritability, and nervousness (due to caffeine).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have heart failure, severe liver or kidney disease, or alcohol problems, without a doctor's instruction.
  • Do not use other pain relievers at the same time without consulting your doctor.
  • This medicine contains paracetamol. Taking too much paracetamol can cause severe liver damage.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are already taking any other prescription or over-the-counter medicine containing paracetamol for pain, fever, cold, or flu symptoms.

  • Avoid too much caffeine from drinks like coffee, tea, and energy drinks while taking Panadol Comp, as it also contains caffeine.
  • Always talk to your doctor before using Panadol Comp if you have liver or kidney problems, are underweight, malnourished, or drink alcohol regularly.
  • Panadol Comp should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years old or weighing less than 40 kg.
