How to Use

Dosage

For children over 3 months old, the dose is 15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of body weight, up to 3 times a day.

Method

Insert the suppository into the rectum. If it's too soft, put it in the refrigerator for a short time before use.

Important

Do not use more than three doses in 24 hours. There should be at least 4 hours between doses.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Redness of the rectal lining.
RARE
  • Allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or face.
  • Peeling skin or blisters.
  • Sores in the mouth.
  • Breathing problems if your child has previously had similar issues after using aspirin or other anti-inflammatory pain medicines.
  • Changes in blood, such as unexpected bleeding or bruising.

Important Warnings

  • Do not give this medicine if your child is allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredient in the medicine.
  • Do not use without a doctor's advice if your child has severe heart, liver, or kidney disease.
  • This medicine is for short-term use. If symptoms continue or get worse for more than 3 days, contact a doctor.
  • Do not use other pain medicines at the same time without a doctor's approval.
  • This medicine contains paracetamol. Too much paracetamol can seriously harm the liver.

  • Do not give this medicine if your child is already taking other medicines containing paracetamol (prescription or over-the-counter) for pain, fever, or cold symptoms.
  • Always talk to a doctor before giving this medicine if your child has liver or kidney problems, is underweight, or is malnourished.
