How to Use

Dosage

One vial of Pamorelin 3.75 mg.

Method

Given as an injection under the skin or into a muscle once a month (every four weeks).

Important

One injection per month (no more than one administration within a four-week period).

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Hot flashes and increased sweating
  • Feeling weak or tired
  • Muscle and bone pain (including back, arms, legs)
  • Pain, bruising, redness, or swelling where the injection was given
  • Feeling sick to your stomach (nausea) or having a dry mouth
  • Headaches or dizziness
  • Mood changes, like feeling down or irritable
  • Weight gain
  • High blood pressure
  • Allergic reactions (like a rash)
  • For men: Less desire for sex or problems with erections
  • For women: Trouble sleeping, less desire for sex, breast problems, painful sex, or vaginal dryness
RARE
  • Severe allergic reactions, including trouble breathing or swelling of the face/throat
  • Seizures
  • Changes in heart rhythm (shown on an EKG)
  • Anemia (low red blood cells)
  • Feeling confused or having memory problems
  • Vision problems, like blurred vision or dry eyes
  • Stomach issues like constipation, diarrhea, or vomiting
  • Tingling, numbness, or muscle cramps
  • Trouble sleeping or feeling very sleepy
  • Skin problems like acne, rashes, itching, or hair loss
  • Joint pain or stiffness, or swelling in ankles, feet, or fingers
  • Changes in blood tests (e.g., liver enzymes, blood sugar, fats)
  • Flu-like symptoms or fever
  • For men: Testicular pain or shrinking of testicles
  • For women: Irregular or painful periods, or small cysts on ovaries

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to triptorelin or any other ingredients. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor if you have diabetes or heart problems, as your doctor will monitor these conditions during treatment.
  • This medicine can make your bones weaker (osteoporosis) and increase the risk of fractures.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you experience seizures or severe depression.
  • If you have prostate cancer, your symptoms might temporarily worsen at the start of treatment; tell your doctor if this happens.
