Form
depottabletti
Strength
20 mg
Active Ingredient
Oxycodone hydrochloride
Manufacturer
ratiopharm GmbH

How to Use

Dosage

Usually, take 10 mg every 12 hours. Your doctor might start you on 5 mg to lessen side effects.

Method

Swallow the tablets whole or halved with half a glass of water, in the morning and evening at fixed times (e.g., 8 AM and 8 PM). You can take them with or without food. Do not chew or crush them, as this can release too much medicine at once and be dangerous.

Important

For non-cancer pain, the usual maximum is 40 mg per day, though higher doses may be needed. For cancer pain, doses typically range from 80-120 mg, and can go up to 400 mg in some cases, as directed by your doctor.
