How to Use

Dosage

Typically, start with 5 mg every 6 hours. Your doctor may adjust the dose.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water, with or without food. Never crush, chew, or inject the capsules. Do not take with alcohol.

Important

Do not take Oxyratio more than 6 times a day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to oxycodone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe breathing problems or a serious, long-term lung disease (like COPD).
  • Do not use if your bowels have stopped working (bowel blockage).
  • This medicine contains an opioid and can lead to dependence or addiction. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully to avoid misuse or overdose.
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can increase drowsiness and the risk of serious side effects like slow, shallow breathing.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C
