How to Use

Dosage

Usually, adults start with one 10 mg/5 mg tablet every 12 hours, but your doctor will decide your exact dose.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with half a glass of water. You can take it with or without food. Do not break, chew, or crush the tablet. Take it every 12 hours, for example, at 8 AM and 8 PM.

Important

The maximum daily dose is usually 160 mg of oxycodone and 80 mg of naloxone. Your doctor will determine the right maximum dose for you.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to oxycodone, naloxone, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have very severe breathing problems, severe lung disease (like COPD or severe asthma), or certain heart conditions related to lungs.
  • Do not take if you have moderate to severe liver failure.
  • Do not take if you have a bowel blockage that is not caused by opioids.
  • Never misuse this medicine by injecting it, as it can be deadly.
