Oxycodone/Naloxone Krka is a prolonged-release tablet used to treat severe pain and prevent constipation by slowly releasing its active ingredients over 12 hours, intended for adults only.
The usual starting dose for pain is one 10 mg/5 mg prolonged-release tablet twice daily, every 12 hours.
Swallow the tablets whole with enough liquid, with or without food; do not break, chew, or crush them.
The maximum daily dose for this medication is 160 mg oxycodone and 80 mg naloxone.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Increases the risk of confusion and falling. Need for laxative is often necessary. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 24.3.2025)
