How to Use

Dosage

For pain: 10 mg oxycodone / 5 mg naloxone every 12 hours. For restless legs: 5 mg oxycodone / 2.5 mg naloxone every 12 hours. Your doctor will adjust the dose for you.

Method

Swallow the tablets whole with enough liquid, such as half a glass of water. You can take them with or without food, every 12 hours at the same time each day (e.g., 8 AM and 8 PM). Do not break, chew, or crush them.

Important

For pain: Max 160 mg oxycodone / 80 mg naloxone per day. For restless legs: Max 60 mg oxycodone / 30 mg naloxone per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if allergic to any ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have severe breathing problems (e.g., severe asthma, COPD, or very slow breathing).
  • Do not use if you have severe liver or kidney problems.
  • Do not use if you have a blocked bowel not caused by opioids.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart conditions, low or high blood pressure, or a head injury.

  • Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel drowsy or fall asleep suddenly.
  • Using this medicine with certain antidepressants or sedatives can cause serious side effects, including severe drowsiness or breathing problems. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Increases the risk of confusion and falling. Need for laxative is often necessary. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 24.3.2025)
