How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose for adults is 2.5 mg (half tablet) three times a day. Your doctor will adjust the dose for elderly patients and children (5 years or older) individually.

Method

Swallow tablets whole or split with half a glass of water or other liquid. They can be taken before meals.

Important

Maximum daily dose for adults is 20 mg (4 tablets) per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to oxybutynin or any other ingredient in it.
  • Do not take if you have difficulty urinating, high eye pressure (glaucoma), severe muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), slow stomach emptying, severe bowel inflammation (ulcerative colitis, toxic megacolon), or frequent nighttime urination due to heart or kidney disease.
  • Dry mouth is common and can increase the risk of dental problems. Take good care of your teeth during treatment.
  • Using this medicine in a warm climate can lead to heat exhaustion due to reduced sweating.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact a doctor immediately if you develop swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, breathing difficulties (angioedema), or sudden blurred vision/eye pain (glaucoma).

  • Contact a doctor if you experience hallucinations, agitation, confusion, or sleep disturbances.
  • Urinary tract infections during treatment must be properly treated with antibiotics.
  • Use with caution in elderly patients due to the risk of affecting learning, thinking, and memory.
  • Not recommended for children under 5 years. Use with caution in children aged 5 years or older due to increased risk of side effects.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
  • This medicine may cause drowsiness and vision problems. Be careful when driving or operating machinery.
