How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 inhalation once or twice daily.

Method

Place the mouthpiece between your teeth, close your lips tightly, and inhale deeply and forcefully.

Important

Do not take more than a total of 6 inhalations in any 24-hour period.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON

RARE
  • Palpitations (feeling your heart beat)
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Allergic reactions (like skin rash, itching, or worsening breathing)
  • Low blood potassium
  • Increased blood sugar
  • Taste disturbances (like an unpleasant taste in your mouth)
  • Changes in blood pressure
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Chest pain or tightness (like angina)
  • Restlessness or agitation

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Oxis Turbuhaler if you are allergic to formoterol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if your breathing worsens, you wake up often at night due to asthma, feel chest tightness, your usual dose is not effective, or you need more medicine than usual.
  • Stop using Oxis Turbuhaler and contact your doctor immediately if you experience sudden tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) right after inhalation.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, thyroid problems, low potassium, or severe liver disease.
  • This medicine contains lactose, which has small amounts of milk protein that may cause allergic reactions.
