How to Use

Dosage

Apply a thin layer of the solution to the affected skin area once a day.

Method

Gently apply the solution with your finger or the bottle's dropper, ensuring you use only a small amount.

Important

Do not apply more than a thin layer once daily. Do not use on large skin areas (over 20% of the body) or for long periods. For children over 2 years, do not use on more than 10% of the skin without a doctor's order. Not recommended for children under 2 years.

Possible Side Effects

  • Itching
  • Visible blood vessels on the skin
  • Burning feeling
  • Pain or other reactions where applied
  • New infections (after or during treatment for another illness)
  • Numbness or tingling in the skin
  • Blurred vision
  • Changes in skin color
  • Skin softening or lightening
  • Heat rash (very itchy)
  • Acne-like skin inflammation
  • Thinning of the skin
  • Irregular spots or lines on the skin
  • Unusual hair growth
  • Allergy to mometasone
  • Skin inflammation around the mouth
  • Repeated deep infection in a hair root (boils)
  • Allergic skin rash from contact
  • Skin irritation and dryness
  • Rosacea-like facial skin inflammation (redness, swelling, and blisters on cheeks and nose)
  • Blue or purple patches on the skin that are not raised (like bruises)

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have children.
  • If your skin becomes irritated or sensitive while using Ovixan solution, stop use and contact your doctor immediately.
  • Do not stop long-term treatment suddenly; instead, reduce use gradually as advised by your doctor.
  • If treating psoriasis, your doctor should regularly check your condition.
  • Do not use the solution on broken skin or eyelids; be careful not to get it in your eyes.

  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • Do not cover the treated area with bandages unless your doctor has instructed, as this can increase the risk of side effects.
  • Do not use the solution on your face unless prescribed by a doctor.
  • Propylene glycol (E1520), an ingredient in this medicine, may cause skin irritation.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to mometasone furoate, other corticosteroids, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have certain skin conditions such as rosacea, acne, skin inflammation around the mouth, fungal or viral infections, or open wounds.
