How to Use

Dosage

For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over, spray once into each nostril as needed.

Method

First, blow your nose. Remove the cap. For the first use, prime the pump by spraying 4 times until a fine mist appears. Tilt your head slightly forward, insert the nozzle into one nostril, spray once, and gently breathe in through your nose. Repeat for the other nostril. Clean the nozzle after use and replace the cap.

Important

Do not use more than 3 times a day in each nostril, and do not use continuously for more than 10 days.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dryness or irritation of the nasal lining
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Local burning sensation in the nose
RARE
  • Nosebleed
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., skin rash, itching)
  • Temporary blurred vision
  • Irregular or fast heartbeat
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Dizziness
  • Tremors
  • Severe allergic reactions (difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, severe skin itching, red rash, or hives) – seek immediate medical attention if these occur.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have recently had head surgery through the nose or mouth.
  • Do not use if you have chronic dry or crusty inflammation in your nose (atrophic rhinitis).
  • Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma (high eye pressure).
  • Do not give to children under 12 years old.

  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are sensitive to similar medicines (causing sleeplessness, dizziness, tremors, heart problems, or high blood pressure), have high blood pressure, heart problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, an enlarged prostate, an adrenal gland tumor, or are taking certain antidepressants (MAOIs, tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants), especially if you've taken MAOIs in the last two weeks.
  • Do not use during pregnancy.
  • Consult your doctor before using during breastfeeding.
  • Do not use in eyes or mouth.
