How to Use

Dosage

Insert one ring into the vagina.

Method

Use for 3 weeks, then remove for 1 week. Wash hands. Insert the ring by squeezing it between your fingers and pushing it into your vagina. Remove after 3 weeks.

Important

Do not keep the ring in for more than 4 weeks total. Never use more than one ring at a time.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Stomach pain, feeling sick (nausea)
  • Vaginal yeast infection, irritation, itching, or discharge
  • Headache, migraine, feeling down, or less desire for sex
  • Breast pain, pelvic pain, or painful periods
  • Acne
  • Weight gain
  • The ring coming out accidentally
RARE
  • Blurred vision, dizziness, or feeling unwell
  • Swollen stomach, throwing up, diarrhea, or constipation
  • Mood swings, irritability, or tiredness
  • Swelling in the body due to fluid build-up
  • Bladder or urinary tract infection, or pain when peeing
  • High blood pressure
  • Back pain, muscle cramps, or numb skin
  • Serious blood clots in legs, lungs, heart, or brain
  • Breast discharge
  • Yellow-brown spots on the skin, especially on the face
  • Partner feels discomfort from the ring
  • Cannot remove the ring without help
  • Vaginal injury if the ring breaks

Important Warnings

  • This medicine can increase your risk of blood clots. Seek medical help immediately if you have symptoms like leg swelling, sudden chest pain, or vision changes.
  • Do not use Ornibel if you are pregnant or think you might be. If you become pregnant, remove the ring and contact your doctor.
  • Tell your doctor if you have serious health conditions (like cancer or liver problems) or take other medicines, as Ornibel might not be safe for you.
  • Ornibel does not protect against HIV or other sexually transmitted infections.
  • Always check the ring is in place. If it comes out, rinse and re-insert immediately. If it's out for over 3 hours or breaks, you may not be protected from pregnancy.
