Oridip is a medicine used to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure, also known as hypertension.
The usual dose is one 10 mg Oridip tablet once a day. Your doctor may increase the dose to one 20 mg tablet or two 10 mg tablets per day if needed.
Take the tablet whole with water, preferably in the morning at least 15 minutes before breakfast. If you have trouble swallowing, you can break the tablet along the score line.
The maximum daily dose is 20 mg (either one 20 mg tablet or two 10 mg tablets).
Suitable for older adults. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include ankle oedema and orthostatic hypotension. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 17.2.2025)
