Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Feeling of warmth
  • Pain
  • Nausea
RARE
  • Skin rashes, hives, redness, itching, or severe reactions with blisters.
  • Headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, or spinning sensation.
  • Vomiting, sneezing, or dry mouth.
  • Changes in blood pressure (high or low), fast or irregular heartbeats, or chest pain.
  • Swelling of the face, eyes or throat, or difficulty breathing and coughing.
  • Confusion, anxiety, temporary memory loss, speech problems, or blurred vision.
  • Kidney problems, difficulty urinating, or blood in urine.
  • Chills, cold sensation, fever, or feeling generally unwell or tired.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you are allergic to iodine, other contrast agents, or any ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use this medicine if you have an overactive thyroid gland.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell your doctor, as the medicine may affect the baby. Breastfeeding should be stopped for one day after the injection.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery for one hour after the injection, as you might feel dizzy or tired.
