How to Use

Dosage

Two puffs, twice a day.

Method

Take the inhaler by mouth. Breathe out fully, put the mouthpiece in your mouth, and breathe in deeply while pressing the inhaler. Hold your breath, then remove the inhaler and breathe out slowly. Rinse your mouth with water after each use.

Important

No more than four puffs per day.

  • Fast or irregular heartbeat, or feeling your heart beat strongly (palpitations)
  • Changes in your heart's electrical activity (ECG changes)

  • Throat irritation
  • Cough, possibly with mucus
  • Asthma attack
  • Vaginal fungal infections
  • Feeling sick (nausea)
  • Changes in taste or loss of taste
  • Burning sensation in the lips

  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Indigestion
  • Upset stomach
  • Diarrhea
  • Muscle pain and cramps
  • Redness of the face and throat
  • Increased blood flow to certain body tissues
  • Excessive sweating
  • Tremors (shaking)

  • Hives or skin rash
  • Changes in blood tests (e.g., low white blood cells, high platelets, low potassium, high blood sugar, high insulin/fatty acids/ketones)
  • Chest tightness
  • Feeling of missed heartbeats
  • Decreased blood pressure
  • Kidney inflammation
  • Swelling of skin and mucous membranes lasting several days
  • Shortness of breath
  • Worsening of asthma
  • Decreased number of blood platelets
  • Swelling of hands and feet
  • Problems with adrenal gland function
  • Decreased bone density (osteoporosis)
  • Slowed growth in children and teenagers
  • Increased eye pressure (glaucoma)
  • Cataracts (clouding of the eye lens)
  • Sleep problems
  • Feeling sad or anxious
  • Nervousness
  • Feeling agitated or irritable
  • Blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to Oparta or any of its ingredients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, liver or kidney issues, thyroid problems, or low potassium levels.
  • If your asthma gets worse or you have sudden trouble breathing right after using the inhaler (paradoxical bronchospasm), stop using it and get medical help right away.
  • Seek medical help immediately for allergic reactions, such as skin rash, itching, redness, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, unless your doctor tells you to.

  • This medicine is not for children or teenagers under 18 years old.
  • Never increase your dose without talking to your doctor first.
  • Do not expose the inhaler to temperatures above 50°C and do not puncture it.
