How to Use

Dosage

Take one 40 mg/12.5 mg tablet once a day; your doctor may increase it to one 40 mg/25 mg tablet if needed.

Method

Swallow the tablet with water, preferably at the same time each day, such as with breakfast.

Important

Do not take more than one 40 mg/25 mg tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to olmesartan medoxomil, hydrochlorothiazide, or similar medicines.
  • Do not use if you are more than 3 months pregnant, as it can seriously harm your baby.
  • Do not take if you have severe kidney or liver problems.
  • Do not take if your blood potassium, sodium, calcium, or uric acid levels are abnormal and do not improve with treatment.
  • Do not take if you have diabetes and kidney problems and are taking aliskiren.

  • Tell your doctor if you have had skin cancer or get new skin growths, and protect your skin from sun exposure.
  • If you get severe shortness of breath or breathing problems after taking this medicine, get medical help right away.
  • If you have blurred vision or eye pain, contact your doctor immediately as it could be a serious eye problem.
  • This medicine can cause dizziness or tiredness. Do not drive or use machines until you feel normal.
  • This medicine is not for children or teenagers under 18 years old.
  • If you are an athlete, this medicine may cause a positive doping test.
