Show 8 more warnings
  • If you have trouble breathing, tell your doctor or nurse, as this could mean small particles are blocking blood vessels in your lungs.
  • Some medicines and health conditions can increase your risk of infection or blood poisoning, especially with a catheter in your vein. Your doctor will monitor you closely for signs of infection.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver problems, blood clotting issues, adrenal gland problems, heart failure, lung disease, too much or too little fluid in your body, uncontrolled high blood sugar, heart attack or shock, severe blood acidity, severe infection, or a coma.
  • If you notice pain, burning, or swelling at the infusion site, or if the infusion is leaking, tell your doctor or nurse immediately. The infusion will be stopped.
  • Do not give Olimel N12 at the same time as blood, using the same equipment.
  • Do not give Olimel N12 through the same infusion line or mix it with ampicillin (an antibiotic) or fosphenytoin (an epilepsy medicine) because it might form clots.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning a baby, ask your doctor for advice before getting this medicine.
  • Olimel N12 must only be given into a large central vein due to its high concentration.
