How to Use

Dosage

One drop once a day in one or both affected eyes.

Method

Wash your hands, pull down your lower eyelid, apply one drop, and press the inner corner of your eye for 2 minutes.

Important

A maximum of one drop once a day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Gradual change in eye color (increased brown pigment in the iris).
  • Eye irritation (burning, gritty feeling, itching, stinging, or foreign body sensation) and eye pain.
RARE
  • Headache.
  • Redness of the eye, eye inflammation, blurred vision, watery eyes, eyelid inflammation.
  • Skin rash or itching.
  • Eye infections, such as herpes virus infections.
  • Allergic reactions (e.g., skin swelling or redness).
  • Dizziness.
  • Changes in eyelashes (longer, thicker, darker).
  • Heart palpitations or chest pain.
  • Asthma or shortness of breath.
  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Darkening of the skin around the eyes.
  • Joint or muscle pain.
  • Low blood sugar.
  • Sleep problems, depression, or memory loss.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to this medicine or its ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have asthma or severe breathing problems.
  • Do not use if you have severe heart problems or an irregular heartbeat.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor about other medicines you are taking, especially for blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, or other eye drops.

  • Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
  • If your vision becomes blurry after applying drops, do not drive or operate machinery until your vision is clear.
  • This medicine may cause eye irritation, and rarely, cloudy spots on the cornea if it is severely damaged.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Start and continue therapy under supervision by an ophthalmologist. Consider systemic adverse effects. Consider potential interactions. (updated 4.12.2023)
