How to Use

Dosage

Put 1 to 2 drops in each eye, 2 to 3 times.

Method

Wash your hands. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and put the drops into the small pocket. Close your eye and gently press the inner corner of your eye for one minute. If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before applying them.

Important

Do not use more than 1-2 drops, 3 times a day. If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose.

  • Weakness (rarely in adults)
  • Nausea (rarely in adults)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use these eye drops if you are allergic to cyclopentolate or any other ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma or a narrow anterior chamber angle.
  • These eye drops can increase eye pressure in people with glaucoma.
  • Not for use in newborns under three months old.
  • For young children, use the 5 mg/ml strength and watch them closely for at least 30 minutes for any side effects.

  • Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid breastfeeding for at least 4 hours after using the drops.
  • These drops may cause temporary light sensitivity and affect your ability to drive or use machines.
  • If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
  • Benzalkonium chloride in the drops can irritate your eyes, especially if you have dry eyes or problems with your cornea. Talk to your doctor if you feel irritation, stinging, or pain.
