How to Use

Dosage

Initially, one drop 6-8 times a day. As symptoms improve, the dose should be gradually reduced.

Method

Wash your hands. Detach one dose unit, twist off the cap, tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, look up, and squeeze one drop into your eye. Close your eye and press the inner corner for about a minute to prevent the drop from draining. Discard the used unit.

Important

Do not exceed 8 drops per day unless advised by a doctor.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Allergic reactions
  • Temporary eye irritation, such as itching, burning, stinging, red eyes, or new infections.
RARE
  • Peripheral nerve disease
  • Inflammation of the optic nerve
  • Serious bone marrow problems, including a type of severe anemia (aplastisk anemia)
  • Allergic eye inflammation
  • Life-threatening allergic reactions
  • Sudden swelling of the skin, mucous membranes or internal organs (angioedema), hives, skin rash with blisters, bumps and spots.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to chloramphenicol or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you or a family member have a blood disorder, such as aplastic anemia.
  • Avoid using contact lenses with an eye infection, as they can slow healing or worsen the infection.
  • Do not use with other medicines that can suppress bone marrow function.
